THE WAY OF SALVATION



Transliteration
“Sparsan krtva bahir bahyams caksus caivantare bhruvoh
Pranapanau saman krtva nasabhyantara carinvou”
“Yatendriya-mano-buddhir munir moksa-parayanah
Vigateccha-bhaya-krodho yah sada mukta eva sah”


Translation

That person expelling from the mind unnessary external sense objects, fixing the eyes Between the eyebrows, practicing the suspension of breath control in the inhalation and exhalation of air flowing threw the nostrils; such a person is in control of  his senses, mind and spiritual intelligence; being so dedicated to liberation, devoid of desire, fear and anger, this wise one is certainly always factually liberated.

Transliteration
                             
Yogi yunjita satatam atmanam rahasi sthitah
Ekaki yata-cittatma nirasir aparigrahah”

Translation

One perfecting the science of uniting the individual consciousness with the Ultimate
Consciousness, consistenly residing along in a secluded place engaged in controlling the mind; desirecess, free from proprietorship; should meditate on the inner self.

Transliteration

“Sucan dese pratisthapya sthiram asanam atmanah
Naty-ucchritam natimcam cailajina-kusottaram”

“Tatraikagram manah krtva yata-cittendriya-kriyah
Upavisyasane yunjyad yogam atma-visuddhaye”

 

Translation

In a sacred and purified place after establishing a seal neither too high nor too low of kusa grass, deerskin or natural cloth; thereupon sitting fianlyon that seat controlling the mind and activities of the senses making the mind one pointed; one in realization should meditate by the scince of uniting the individual consciousness with the Ultimate Conciousness for purifying the mind.

Transliteration

“Samam kaya-siro-grivam dharayann acalam sthirah
Sampreksya nasikagram svam disas canavalokayan”

“Pasantma vigata-bhir brahmacari-vrate sthitah
Manah samyamya mac-citto yukta asita mat-parah”

Translation

Holding the body, head and neck staight, umoving and stable, gazing upon the tip of the nose and not glancing in any direction, fixwd in the vow of celibacy, with an unagitated mind, fearless, completely subduing the mind; the renunciate should sit concentraling the mind, upon Me as the Ultinate Goal.

 

The Science of Krishna Yoga

                                   Transliteration        

“Yunjam evam sadatmanah yogi niyata-manasah

Santim nirvana-paramam mat-samstham adhigacchati”

 

Translation

In this way consisitently engaging the self in meditation, one perfecting the science of uniting the individual consciousness with the Ultimate Consciousness, with the mind withdrawn within attains perfect peace by the cessation of material existence into the spiritual effulgence of my impersonal aspect.

 

You have a right to action, but only action, never to its fruits.Your motive should not be the fruits of your work. Let there not be in you any attachment to inactivity.

Pure intelligence is the key to the proper and skillful discharge of duties. This will free you of both good and evil doings. Therefore, try to be in Yoga. Yoga is skill in work.

Even a commencement of devotional service does not go in vain. On path of Karma no effort is lost, nor is there any loss in merely attempting it. Even a little action oriented Dharma delivers from the great fear of the world.


He is free from desire whose mind is undisturbed in sorrow as well as pleasures. He is above liking, fear and anger, such a persor is the sage of settled understanding.

Attainment of perfect bliss through devotional activities activities drives away all misery and the blissful person attains tranquility of mind.

Nobody can remain, even for a moment, not doing work. No one can ignore such duties forced on them by Prakrity.

Therefore, go on efficiently doing your duty without attachment. Doing work without
Attachment, man attains the Supreme.

He who having controlled his senses by well-balanced intelligence taken action without any attachment for them, stands superior. He excels.

I am not bound by any action and I do not desire to enjoy any fruit of actions. Even he who thus knows me in reality is not bound by action.

He. Who sees inaction (Akarma) in action (Karma) and action in inaction, is wise among men; he is Yogi, who has performed all actions.

Just as lotus floating on water remains unaffected by the water, so also he remains untouched by sin who acts in offering all actions to God.

What ever a great man dose, others also do the very same thing. What ever standard he sets up, people in general follow that standard.
